HOW BEST TO USE THE ACCESS STATEMENTS - We intend for these
statements to provide additional information once the property
description and facilities have been read and deemed appropriate.
Approached from an A-road and a tarmac lane. To your right there is a side entrance. The cottage is accessed by a stone built wall with wrought iron gate and a 1 x 6 and a half inch step onto patio. 2 external lights on patio. Approaching a double glazed door with 1 x 4 and a half inch step into the kitchen with tiled floor and open beamed ceiling.
Alternative entrance front of house accessed by 3 x 8 inch steps into hall (doorway 2ft 10 inch wide). Parking: 1 space on drive to rear of garden and 1 space on lane. 1 x 5 inch step down to garden, 1 x 10 inch and 1 x 7 inch step from garden down to patio. Slight slope in garden. From kitchen there is a 15 panel glass door into hall which is a 2ft 6inch wide door. Fitted carpets. There is a first right pine door into dining room with open beamed ceiling. 2nd right pine door into well-lit sitting room with open beams, natural and artificial lighting.
TV with teletext and some audio visual equipment operated by remote control.
First flight of stairs leads to a small landing with a 2 and a half inch step into bathroom with vinyl flooring. There is an airing cupboard with shelfs.
From landing there are 4 x 5 and a half inch steps to main landing.
Guide dogs welcome.
Public transport (local bus service) every hour 3 – 4 minutes walk from house.
